![]() Enjoy! 99 smith was my first 99, so I didn't have anything besides the gloves when I got it. at least you can purchase the gloves and all my ramblings are still worth something in the end. you could skip the gloves for the bars if you wanted and make a few more, cause they do get a little expensive if you haven't made much money yet. So it's going to be less than 20k total platebodies needed to be made in the end. Which is 140 base per platebody and 228.2 xp with the above xp bonuses. But after I calculated the above, I opted to finish somewhere around 93 to 99 with runite and dragonite for the dragon javelin grind.Īctually, I forgot the xp from the bars. Mithril is definitely the fastest mining xp, for straight to 99. It will be a fair bit less than that because mastery preserves a good number of bars as you level it and mastery also gives you a considerable amount more bars as well when you start smithing them (between chance to double and chance to preserve resources) So you need less than 30k platebodies to hit 99. If you do it with firemaking cape (5% xp), ancient ring of skills (8% xp), plus the gloves (50% xp) you will get 407.5 xp per platebody. to use the cheat menu, you'll have to toggle it to on, then go back to the main window. click the eye with a slash to open up the cheats. if you scroll all the way to the bottom of this sidebar, you'll see CHEAT TOOLS. Do I just mine rune essence until I get 800k coal (1 Mith+4 coal mith. the UI isn't super intuitive, but if you've installed correctly the nav sidebar (where you select all your skills) will have a red outline. its one of the better 99's to get first, simply because it gives exp bonus's to. It makes some gold as well but far from the best. I think there is also some benefit to skills like cooking from other upgrades you can buy. So I mined about 200k Mithril (until I got 99 mining) I am equipping the Mining cape and Mining rune essence whilst I get the free 1 coal per mining action. Firemaking cape raises all other xp gains, so it can help you level other skills. It improves the Cooking XP (not Firemaking). There is quite the grind for 99 mastery in all the logs, if you wear the cape while doing that you will get a lot of coal at least, which would help with smithing or mining. I think it gives an XP bonus, but the Firemaking page says: Question: What does a 'cooking fire' do. In the long run yea, after you max all you have left is completion cape and mastery will help with everything plus it’s a passive boost. You won't need quite that much if you smith platebodies with smithing gloves. Melvor Idle > General Discussions > Topic Details. In Melvor Idle, I've upgraded my cooking fire, but I'm not sure what it does (if anything).
